Palabras a los Socios del CRCZH
MY ROTARY FAMILY.
From Werner Juretzco
I am a Rotarian and I have 1.2 million brothers and sisters living all over the world. They are comprising 34,000 families, called clubs. They are dotted all over the globe
at 172 countries throughout the 24 time zones. They all speak their own languages and dialects. They belong to many races, religions and political affiliations,
across all continents.
But all together, we have one common language, manifested and binding us, the family of Rotarians, in one single goal, how to achieve a better world to live in.
Free of hunger and decease by eradicating Polio, almost worldwide. What an amazing success. Now contained to only four countries remaining. We reach out with our
hearts and helping hand, across political lines when catastrophe strikes.
Our Rotary shelter boxes, a brainchild of a British Rotarian, stocked with a tent, basic human needs and essentials are already on the ground while big governments
still discuss how to re-act.
Rotary Mexico had been again in the forefront aiding the victims of the Philippine typhoon. Shelter Boxes had been on the ground there, before some countries bureaucracy
was able to extent their help.
I am honored and feel privileged during my travels throughout the world, to find a chair at any club (my family) among my brothers and sisters. And I feel always being welcomed in their mist.
The 4- way test:
1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
"The Four-Way Test" of the things we think, say or do."
